EGIDE was founded by Albert Demargne, a chartered aerospace engineer and PhD with over 20 years of experience in both hardware and software applications covering a wide range of industry sectors.

He combines technical knowledge with first-hand commercial and operational experience of growing IP-rich start-ups and SMEs.
Albert has delivered consultancy assignments since 2000, and has worked with top-tier OEMs, specialist firms and government laboratories across Europe, North America and Asia. He has a proven track record in identifying and developing opportunities, and has secured public funding from UK and European institutions for multi-million GBP projects, as well as successfully raising venture capital investment. He sits on the investment committee of the RCA’s Design & Innovation Fund .
