Albert began his career as an R&D Engineer on flagship European programmes for ESA and CNES, such as the Ariane 5 launcher and the Hermes spaceplane. After co-leading a hardware start-up for several years, he transitioned into commercial and strategic roles bringing innovative software to market, working with top-tier OEMs and government laboratories across Europe, North America and Asia.
Combining technical knowledge with first-hand commercial and operational experience of growing IP-rich start-ups and SMEs, Albert has delivered consultancy assignments since 2000. He has a proven track record in identifying and developing opportunities, and has repeatedly secured public funding from UK and European institutions, as well as successfully raising venture capital investment.
